I just returned from Texas yesterday. The Annual Texas Live Fire Classes were excellent. Some great students, mostly repeats. I’m already scheduling for next February / March, including a Texas HEAT 1. The quality of MVT Alumni says great things about MVT training!
I’m back into writing the next book in the Patriot Series. It will be called “The Storm Rages: Dragon Rising.” I’m on the way to getting it completed.
Texas Classes
The HEAT 1 Combat Tactics will be the same class offered in West Virginia. LINK. There is a also a LINK to a gear admin page. This class is also the prerequisite for attendance on the Texas Alumi Live Fire Classes. Class limit: 12
Alumni Class: There will be 2 nights of optional night training included in the Alumni package, at an additional cost. These nights will not go beyond 2300hrs in order to be rested for the next day. You will need all the equipment as per the Night Operations class to attend this training.
The Texas Class is a hybrid advanced class that does not conform specifically to the MVT standard training curriculum. This general class theme and curriculum has been a huge success for the alumni taking part. This will be the twelfth year for these Texas classes. This class should be viewed as a capstone annual training event where students travel from as far away as Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Kentucky, Idaho etc.
You need to be an MVT Live Fire Alumni to attend the Texas Alumni Live Fire class. Keep an eye out for HEAT 1 classes which will qualify you for the Texas class.
