We will be having a CQB/Home Defense Level 1 July 21-23 at Camp Ponderosa, MT just prior to the Mountain Readiness Expo.
Course consists of one day of live fire skills with carbine and pistol, followed by two days of shoot-house work w/SIMs in the 10,000 sq ft training building.
Concepts covered include:
– Fast and accurate hits inside of 200yds with pistol and carbine.
– Target transitions for multiple threats.
– Fast target assessment with shoot/no-shoot drills.
– Use of cover & concealment.
– Working both solo and in small teams.
– Structure assessment and approach.
– Threshold/entry problems.
– Defensive considerations & strategies for home invasion.
– Clear and recovery drills.
– Force on force drills.
